Various type of Commercial Fridges

The fridge at home is a unit which is used to keep the edibles and drinks preserved for long durations and to keep them cold in summer season or even in winter season. Home refrigeration is different from the commercial fridges as at home you do not need much to store for long but commercially you may like to store bulk in the fridge and may be for a longer duration or you may like to have a fridge which a customer is not required to open instead the customer can see from the outside that what all is present in it.

So it is convenient to say that commercial fridges are different from the domestic ones in specifications, structure, capacity and looks. They are commonly used at restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores and bars etc which have typical refrigeration need. Being different in nature and structure they tend consuming more space and electricity and keeping these things in view the commercial fridges which we see in the market at present are much economical as for as the power consumption is concerned.

Types of Commercial Fridges

There is a variety of commercial fridges available in the market for any purpose one can think of, like to keep the milk they have one specially made, for beverages there is another kind, chocolates are kept in a different type, edibles or cooked meals are accommodated in a different type and the bars can have one for their own requirements keeping in view the kind and types of beverages which are required to be stored. A few types are briefly explained hereunder:-

Upright Display Fridge. Amongst the commercial fridges this type of fridge is most commonly used. It has two transparent doors opening outwards or sliding. It comes in various sizes and has racks in it.

Multi Decks. They come as low height multi decks or high multi decks. These commercial fridges are mostly used for storing fruits and vegetables, sausages and even canned beverages etc.

Fridges. Single and double door fridges with solid doors are available to store multiple items.

Ice Cream Display Fridge. This unit comes in different sizes with sliding transparent top having compartments to store the ice cream at requisite temperature.

Roll in Fridge. This type of fridge suits best for caterers or others which need to handle bulk food items at one time. They have the racks with sliding trays which can move in or out easily.

Under Counter Fridge. This consists of solid doors or refrigerated drawers or may be combination of both. This saves the space as it can be accommodated under an existing counter these are portable too.

Fish File. This one is like a filing cabinet which comprises of multiple drawers to keep sea food and crushed ice. This has proved to be the best to store and preserve fish and other seafood items.

Worktop Fridge. It is a two in one item having top of the unit used by chefs to prepare the food.

The commercial fridges are not meant to be used commercially only; they can always be used for domestic use too if you would like to create a more bar type-ish feel to your own home!
